Setup Your Farm

Once you have claimed your farm, you need to go through Setup Farm in order to start selling products on GrownBy. This means completing all four tabs of Farm Profile, Locations, Schedule and Stripe Setup.
This is what to expect in each section:
Contact info, description, photo
If you would like your farm’s location to be private, don’t list it in your farm profile and use a PO box as your billing address.
Social media handles
Include all locations of your farm that you would like to be public. Include all of your CSA distribution points, farmers markets and farm stands. If you would like your farm’s location to be private, don’t list it in your farm profile and use a PO box as your billing address.
Every distribution for CSA or pre-order is required to have a location and a schedule for when you are there distributing your products.
Our payment processor is Stripe. You can use an existing Stripe account or create one for using GrownBy. All payments made in GrownBy go through Stripe.
Stripe only charges fees for processing credit cards, not for offline payments. GrownBy charges it’s transaction fee on both offline and online payments.
This is also where you give instructions for offline payments like the address for mailing a check or that your farm can accept EBT onsite at the distribution. Follow the prompts and fill out the Stripe forms. This is where you need to enter your bank account information, EIN and they may require you to submit a photo of your ID to verify your identity.
When you click the Connect with Stripe button you will leave GrownBy and enter Stripe, it's ok!
That's it! Now you're officially setup on GrownBy.
